ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Stunning vintage green tartan Dark Academia skirt suit, never worn, consisting of a smart jacket and pleated skirt in pure wool in a light and dark green plaid design interwoven with gold and red threads. The jacket has a revere collar, long sleeves, a 3 front button fastening and two covered pockets. The skirt is full and pleated, falling from a fixed waistband with elasticated side panels for ease of movement and a side zip fastening. Jacket and skirt are fully lined in bottle green rayon. Lovely classic suit in unworn condition with uncut pockets and a Woolmark label with spare buttons still attached.

All our clothing is sold according to the actual measurements of the clothes, our sizings are estimates of modern UK, and US sizes and for your convenience only. Vintage size labels can be misleading - a vintage dress from the 1970s labelled a UK size 18 is likely to have a bust measurement of only 38-40". To avoid disappointment we advise you to check our measurements against those of a similar garment which fits you well, before you make a purchase.
