ITEM DESCRIPTION: Estimated fit UK 16 EU 44 Bust 42"/ 107cm
Fabulously elegant 1960s vintage Empire-line Regency-style maxi column dress in dark midnight blue, featuring a blue and white floral lace bodice and sheer lace trumpet sleeves slashed to the elbow. The scoop neck, slashed sleeves and high waist are trimmed with black satin ribbon and a bow. Dress bodice is fully lined with purple rayon which is slightly faded on internal inspection but does not show when worn. Metal back zip. Beautiful iconic dress in very good condition.

Vintage size labels can be misleading - a vintage dress from the 1970s labelled a UK size 18 is likely to have a bust measurement of only 38-40".
