Charming 1970s vintage Laura Ashley cotton smock dress in a rare larger size, featuring a dainty floral design in shades lilac, sage green and white on a purple background. The dress is a loose pull-on ethnic Asian style similar to Anokhi and Phool, with a high Nehru collar fastening with floral self-fabric ties and falling in full pleats from a padded quilted yoke. Button through to the waist with 2 side pockets and unlined. The dress can be worn belted or as a loose flowing smock. Will fit a range of sizes, suitable Lagenlook or maternity wear. All our clothing is sold according to the actual measurements of the clothes, our sizings are estimates of modern UK, and US sizes and for your convenience only. Vintage size labels can be misleading - a vintage dress from the 1970s labelled a UK size 18 is likely to have a bust measurement of only 38-40". To avoid disappointment we advise you to check our measurements against those of a similar garment which fits you well, before you make a purchase.
