Charming 1970s vintage Laura Ashley sleeveless pinafore shift dress in a rare larger size, featuring a dainty diamond geometric print in lilac and sky blue, on indigo blue ultra-fine needlecord cotton fabric. The dress is a pull-on style , with a high mandarin collar and a faux-sailor collar around the shoulders. The dress falls in box pleats at the shoulder, there is a 4 button front fastening to just above the waist and 2 side pockets. Unlined. The dress can be worn belted or as a pinafore dress over a jumper and would look fabulous with boots! Vintage size labels can be misleading - a vintage dress from the 1970s labelled a UK size 18 is likely to have a bust measurement of only 38-40". To avoid disappointment we advise you to check our measurements against those of a similar garment which fits you well, before you make a purchase.
